The Science Place Construction Works
The Science Place is an approximate 11,200m2, 4-level teaching and research facility that connects to rural, regional and remote schools and communities across northern Qld, transforming the way these students experience science education. This new facility and the interactions it promotes will attract, excite and inspire students at all levels, encouraging them to prepare for science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and health-related careers in a regional setting.
