View Contract Details

The Queensland Government is seeking tenders to undertake the Main Channel Beacon M1 Reinstatement - 2015 at Moreton Bay, Brisbane.

The major items included in the Works are as follows:

1. Supply and fabricate 1200 mm diameter x 25mm thick mild steel pile.
2. Transport pile to work site.
3. Handle, pitch and drive 1200 mm diameter pile.
4. Supply, fabricate and galvanise pile cap.
5. Cut pile at correct height and install weld-on pile cap.
6. Supply and install Denso Steelcoat 100 protection system or approved equivalent to pile cap and pile cap splice weld.
7. Supply and install Denso Seashield 2000FD pile protection system or approved equivalent.
8. Supply, fabricate and install 2400 mm diameter work platform, starboard lateral daymark complete with platform mounted daymark frame and lamp stand.
9. Supply, fabricate and install galvanised steel ladder, complete with clamps to the orientation on the beacon as shown on the Drawings.
10. Supply, fabricate and install beacon identification sign.
11. Supply all fasteners including aluminium bolts, u-bolts, nuts and washers; Grade 316 stainless bolts, nuts and washers; galvanised mild steel bolts, nuts and washers; and all bolt insulation products.
12. Remove and dispose of the existing pile stub remaining in the sea bed and the wreckage lying on the sea bed which consists of the broken off pile section, anodes, ladder clamps, ladder sections, work platform, daymark, lamp stand and navigation light.
13. Collect temporary Sealite Poseidon-1750 buoy from the work site including chains and anchor block and return this to the Maritime Safety Queensland Pinkenba Marine Operations Base.

This contract does not include:

1. The supply and installation of the navigation light.
