New Chemical Dosing Facility at RED001

Sewer Pump Station RED001 has experienced odour and corrosion problems for several years. A container housing a temporary trial odour control system was placed adjacent to the pump station a couple of years ago for testing purposes. The tests conducted have revealed that a permanent chemical dosing facility would be beneficial in this location.

Moreton Bay Council has jurisdiction over the park where RED001 is located and has set the requirements for construction of the permanent chemical dosing facility.

The contract will be a complete package for site and building improvements. The supply and installation of the chemical dosing equipment is not a part of this contract. Work included in this contract includes, but is not limited to:

  • Building extension
  • Driveway for service vehicles
  • Landscaping
  • Painting of new work
