The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for a Review of the Department of Transport and Main Road's North Coast District's Road Asset Management Contract (RAMC).
The newly introduced RAMC for the North Coast District has been operational for almost eighteen months.
There is a need for an independent party to:
Conduct a review to assess whether the RAMC is:
- Meeting community expectations for maintenance activities within competing priorities and available funds;
- Increasing local participation in the maintenance of the Sunshine Coast road transport asset; and
- meeting all objectives, conditions and milestones associated with the RAMC;
Develop an options paper which will identify opportunities to increase local participation in road asset management in the Sunshine Coast area.
