The Department of Science, Information Technology and Innovation (DSITI) invites quotes from suitably qualified firms for the provision of services for the Shared Regional Connectivity Trial.
This purpose of this industry engagement is to progress the Investigate and co-design a shared regional connectivity trial [CG-03] project under the Connecting Government focus area.
Since the project is at the conceptual stage, the government is seeking an industry partner to help shape the deliverables and provide strategic advice before implementation.
The project has two stages:
- discovery stage, leading to a benefits case, and
- trial stage, leading to a business case.
At the end of the discovery stage, the government wants to know “whether to pursue a regional connectivity trial based on the potential benefits and merits of various connectivity solutions” (referred to as the ‘connectivity blueprint’).
Progressing to the trial (second) stage of the project will be dependent on the outcome of the first stage.
For detailed information on the specific goods / services sought under this tender, please review the attached Request for Quotation.
