The Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing (NPSR) is seeking suitability experienced and licenced contractor to; Supply and Install an upgrade to the current batteries within the Remote Area Power System (RAPS) at Rinyirru Ranger Base. (Lakefield).
Rinyirru Ranger Base, in Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park (CYPAL) is located approximately 340km 5 hours’ drive north-west of Cairns, on Cape York Peninsula.
The Replacement of the battery bank includes;
a. Replace all 120 cells.
b. Utilise existing battery housing.
c. Pack replaced batteries, ready for transport.
