Supply of a Preconstruction Project Manager to assist in the delivery of the Preconstruction Program of works, including management of the Preconstruction phase of multi-disciplinary transport and road infrastructure projects and programs, project design review and verification, the provision of corporate functions such as resource management, mentoring, QA system updating & maintenance and involvement in Preconstruction Unit Strategic Planning exercises.
The role requires a detailed working knowledge of TMR policies, procedures, practices and specifications, in particular those relating to the Preconstruction phase and has a high level of technical engineering experience and capability to ensure designs are suitable, appropriate and adequate for the purpose and are in accordance with the relevant design standards.
This role will be required to positively contribute to the development of skills and knowledge within the Preconstruction Team, providing technical guidance, mentoring and supporting other team members.

The roles shall be undertaken in a professional manner, in accordance with the normal TMR conduct and ethical requirements.
The roles will be physically based in TMR’s Carnaby Street Office within the Preconstruction Team. Each contract is for 1800 hours of service at a fixed hourly rate. Working hour arrangements of approximately 8 hours per day and five days per week apply, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the supplier and the Eligible Customer. The positions will be supplied with the required resources (e.g. desktop computer and office telephone, but excluding a mobile telephone) to undertake the role.
