Governance - Board: The DDHHS is a statutory body, and as such is required to establish a Board in accordance with the National Health Reform Agreement and Queensland’s Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011.
Audit objective: To provide assurance that processes related to the DDHHS Board and its subordinate Committees are in place and operating efficiently and effectively to ensure compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, standards and guidelines for the functioning of the Board, in order that it may fulfil its responsibilities and objectives.
Audit scope: The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Board and its Committees.
