Nudgee Beach (Kedron Brook Floodway) Boat Ramp Widening and Floating Walkway Construction
The Queensland Government is seeking tenders to undertake the Nudgee Beach (Kedron Brook Floodway) Boat Ramp Widening and Floating Walkway Construction.
The scope of works include:
Detailed design of floating walkway and supply RPEQ certified drawings.
Demolish and remove existing pontoon including concrete abutment, modules, and piles.
Prepare subgrade to design levels.
Supply and placement of geotextile in the subgrade of the work platform.
Preparation of base including supply and placement of geogrid.
Supply, placement and compaction of 75mm crushed rock for the work platform including encasement with the geogrid.
Construction of insitu reinforced concrete anchor beam.
Fabrication, Supply and placement of precast concrete boat ramp planks.
Supply, fabricate and install floating walkway components, piles, coring and modifying existing boat ramp lane for pile installation, abutment and lighting.
Construct grouted rock shoulders to western lane
Relocate existing signage
Construct widening to boat ramp turn around area including pavement, seal, asphalt surfacing and line marking.
Relocate timber post fence, gate, bins and signage to accommodate turn around area widening.
The works are divided into two components in the drawings. The ramp works are composed of items 1 to 11 above, the land works include items 12 and 13 above. Tenderers are requested to price two options for this project, option A includes ramp and land works, option B includes ramp works only. Should the Principal elect to proceed with Option A, separable portions will not apply to the ramp works and the land works.
