Service and Repair Agents for Electrical Cleaning Equipment
The Department of Education provides a wide range of services and programs from within a significant number of educational facilities and institutions throughout the state. Effective cleaning of these facilities is necessary to maintain the condition of these assets and to provide a comfortable and safe environment for students, employees and visitors.
The utilisation of electrical cleaning equipment within educational facilities significantly assists cleaners to efficiently meet their cleaning duties. The cleaning equipment necessary to maintain each of these facilities varies according to design, size and application of each facility. The Department of Education and Training (DET) identifies the importance and value gained from maintaining and servicing all electrical cleaning equipment when scheduled / necessary to ensure the equipment performs safely at an optimum level while requiring minimal effort.
The Department’s goal is to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) consisting of suitably qualified electrical contractors to service and repair various electrical cleaning equipment as required for Queensland state-owned educational facilities. Furthermore it is anticipated that the SOA will deliver value to the Department through competitiveness in costs and desirable levels of service whilst complying with the Queensland Government’s standards and policies.
