Update of the QH swimming and spa pool operational guidelines
The Department of Health is responsible for providing guidance to operators of public swimming pools, spa pools and splash pads/water play parks regarding the management of public health risks associated with using public aquatic facilities. The Department of Health’s primary guidance document is the ‘Queensland Health Swimming and Spa Pool Water Quality and Operational Guidelines 2004’ available from https://www.health.qld.gov.au/publications/public-health/industry-environment/disease-prevention-control/legionella/guidelines-pool-spa.pdf. The Department has identified a need to provide an updated guidance document and is seeking the services of a contractor to complete this task.
