Colmslie Boat Ramp Reconstruction and Floating Walkway Replacement

The Queensland Government is seeking tenders to undertake the reconstruction of the Colmslie Boat Ramp and the replacement of the floating walkway.

The major work items include:

  1. Removal and offsite disposal of existing floating walkway modules, piles and abutment.
  2. Earthworks – excavation for shoulder footings and construction of the crushed rock core.
  3. Design, fabrication and construction of the floating walkway (including the floating walkway
  4. support lane and abutment).
  5. Supply and placement of Type RG4000 precast ramp planks for two (2) boat ramp lanes.
  6. Placement of three (3) Principal supplied Type T4000 precast ramp (terminator) planks.
  7. Supply and placement of grouted scour protection at the toe of the ramp.
  8. Construction of cast insitu concrete connecting slab and plank connection.
  9. Construction of fully grouted rock shoulders and ungrouted rock shoulders.
