South East Queensland Regional Plan Review Community Survey

The Planning Group is currently revisiting the South East Queensland Regional Plan. The final regional plan will need to take into account community attitudes and views and in order to do this the group needs to survey a representative sample from the region.
Similar research was undertaken in 2010 on the Queensland Growth Management Summit. This provides a perfect opportunity to compare how the results have changed during the last five years and what the community's current attitudes are.
While the survey will help guide the drafting of the new draft and final plans, it's anticipated that the data can also be used as a basis for checking the community's temperature to develop a thorough community engagement and communications strategy. The team needs to engage a consultant who can develop additional survey questions in collaboration with the SEQRP project team and conduct an online survey with 800 people from across the South East Queensland region.
The successful consultant will also need to analyse the results and provide a detailed report once the analysis has been completed.
Results from the survey need to be available in May and therefore a quick turnaround for the survey is required.
Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) ran the similar survey five years ago so they should have access to the data and will also be able to compare how the community's attitudes have changed over that time.
