Technical Support and Agronomy Services in a Cropping Support Specialist Role
The Department of Employment, Economic Development & Innovation (DEEDI) invites offers from well-established broad-acre dryland cropping consultants and agri-business professionals (agronomists) with extensive and broad experience of crop production in Central Queensland (CQ). The Successful Offeror will be appointed in a Cropping Support Specialist (CSS) role which will work in partnership with the Department’s Emerald-based Farming Systems team (FST) in the delivery of Cropping Development and Extension (D&E) services. The D&E services will be aimed at promoting the uptake of agronomic and integrated weed management (IWM) best practice through the Grains Research & Development Corporation-funded Crop Sequencing project (CQCS).
