The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation is seeking Offers from Broad Acre Dryland Cropping Contractors/Agronomists with extensive experience in crop production in Central Queensland. The Contractor/Agronomist will be required to partner with DEEDI’s Emerald based Farming Systems Team to deliver Crop Production Development and Extension services to grain growers in CQ. The services will be aimed at promoting the uptake of integrated weed management best practice for environmentally sustainable and effective control of grass weeds through the Gains Research and Development Corporation funded Central Queensland Crop Sequencing project.
