The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) requires diabetes survey database software (DSDS) to be utilised by the SCHHS Endocrinology (Inpatient and Outpatient) Department.
Direct negotiation tender process occurred between the SCHU project team with BioGrid, as BioGrid is both the manufacturer and sole distributor of BioGrid DSDS.
Discussions between SCHHS Endocrinology department and the SCUH Project have been undertaken to determine the requirements for DSBS. SCUH Procrement and Contracts has been consulted in relation to the proposed procurement process. Advice has been sought from Legal, the Department of Health's Insurance Services Team and the Queensland Government Insurance Fund on the relevant aspects of the proposed contract.
