Provision of ServiceNow Professional Services and Licenses
ServiceNow provides a service model that defines structures and automates the flow of work, removing email and spreadsheets from the process to streamline the delivery of services.
The current Whole-of-Government Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for the provision of ServiceNow ICTSS.0906 (previously X.TEN.0208) expires on 19 December 2015. The Department of Science, Information Technology, and Innovation (DSITI) has advised that it is not extending the SOA. Health Services Information Agency (HSIA) has indicated that they may be establishing an arrangement for ServiceNow, but are unable at this time to indicate when this arrangement may commence.
As advised by the Department of Science, Information Technology and Innovation (DSITI) due to expected price increase SCHHS would achieve better value for money to purchase ServiceNow under the current pricing model, as well as the cost avoidance of protracted contract negotiations as the current terms and conditions are favourable to the HHS and present low risk.
