Research into Older Entrepreneurs
The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services is inviting offers from consultants to undertake research into supporting older entrepreneurs including:
• a review of current literature on older peoples’ entrepreneurship to identify current knowledge and trends
• summary and analysis of the current range of policies, programs and service responses to encourage and support older entrepreneurs in Queensland, nationally and internationally
• qualitative research involving older people, older entrepreneurs and other key stakeholders in Queensland to identify the characteristics, skills and strengths of older entrepreneurs and the interest and support needs of older entrepreneurs
• analysis of the findings from the literature review, review of related policy and programs, and qualitative research in a written report which provides evidence-based recommendations to inform future government strategies and service responses.
