Supply of Liquid Permeameter
The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is seeking a reputable company to supply, install and commission a Porolux 1000 Porometer and permeability extension machine at their Salisbury Research Facility, in Salisbury Qld.
Having the capability to measure wood permeability will allow the Innovative Forest Products team to be significantly more proactive in forest product and process development, with enhanced capability to understand and influence the fundamental behaviour of wood.
The equipment will be used to assist in overcoming technical product development issues within the Queensland timber industry. The equipment will be used to drive innovative product development through an understanding on fundamental wood properties in the future.
