Review and update of drinking and recycled water quality guidelines
The Department of Energy and Water Supply through its Water Supply Regulation team is seeking to engage an experienced contractor to undertake a review of 5 drinking and recycled water quality guidelines and provide updates to the guidelines.
In undertaking this review the regulator aims to focus on formatting the guidelines so they all fit together and tell a ‘story’, much like the chapters of a book. It is anticipated this will reduce the repetitive preamble or general information that currently exists in all of the guidelines.
Ideally, the guidelines should focus more on providing visual descriptions where appropriate and simplifying language where possible.
