Scholarship Scheme for Young Women Leaving Care
This procurement is for the delivery of a scholarship scheme to assist up to 100 young women leaving care of the state to access higher education; either through university or TAFE over a five year period. The objective of the program is to enable a more positive future and career path for young woman leaving care, through improved educational outcomes by:
- ensuring they receive financial assistance to reduce the barriers in accessing higher education and training
- providing mentoring, coaching and support to establish employment connections and networks.
