Review and Enhancement of Regulatory Officer Certification Course (ROCC)
The Regulatory Officer Competency Certification (ROCC) is the minimum standard of training required for staff to be appointed as an Authorised Officer conducting compliance activities under legislation administered by the department, including the Land Act 1994, the Vegetation Management Act 1999 and the Water Act 2000.
The purpose of the review of the ROCC is to:
ensure that it remains current and relevant, that staff appointed by the Chief Executive as authorised officers have the requisite knowledge and skills to perform their duties to the required standard, and
To enhance the program by the inclusion of five (5) additional customised modules to address needs identified during the delivery of the current course.
