Change Management Scope

The objective of the Change Management component is to ensure the successful implementation (3Ps) of the project with regard to internal and external stakeholders.

Queensland Rail is seeking a consultancy that can successfully manage and deliver the changes required within Queensland Rail Travel to implement the new travel booking system. At a macro level, the booking system is an enabler to the wider Travel strategy that aims to grow the Queensland Rail Travel business.

The successful tenderer will develop and deliver the change management strategy. The consultants will lead a Change Management Group tasked with:

• Developing the framework and governance structure for system implementation including people and processes (e.g.: gap analysis, process mapping, BPR or BPI, etc.)
• Determining how the organisational impact of the changes associated with the new system will be managed and supporting their implementation (e.g.: stakeholder improvement, capability improvement, transition plan, etc.)
• Managing information, messaging, internal communications and third party communications
• Developing and managing all communication and engagement with employees, external system users and other stakeholders including unions.

The Change Management Group will have internal representation from the project team and subject matter experts within the travel business.

It is expected that the service provider will begin work immediately (as tender evaluation has already commenced) and continue until full system implementation.
