Curatorial Assessment and Valuation of the Departments Capital Artwork
The Procurement Services Unit of the Department of Justice and Attorney (DJAG), Queensland Government, invites offers from suppliers to undertake the Curatorial Assessment and Valuation of the Department’s Capital Artwork.
The Department of Justice and Attorney General’s (DJAG) public artworks collection is an important State asset and legacy for coming generations. The Department has an obligation to conserve and maintain this important cultural asset. Further, the Department has a financial obligation to have artwork, currently valued at greater than $5,000, revalued every year as per the Non-Current Asset Policies for the Queensland Public Sector mandated by Queensland Treasury. A comprehensive revaluation is to be performed every five years with desktop revaluations performed in the interim years. The Department has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives of establishing a contract to undertake this annual valuation for the next (5) five years.
