| The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for Purchase of 6 Road Rail Excavators
The scope of works for this tender includes design, supply, delivery and commissioning of two road rail excavators with fitted sleeper/transom grab, spot tamper and buckets.
Queensland Rail is seeking to revise the quantity of 8t hi rail excavators supplied from two (2) to six (6). The additional four (4) x 8t excavators shall not have roller clamps fitted.
The Rail Bridge mode of operation (refer clause 1.1.5) is redundant with the non-fitment of roller clamps. Hence the additional four (4) x 8t excavators shall have three modes of operation – Road (Civil), Rail Travel, and Rail Work. Requirements of the specification relating to roller clamps (refer sections 1.1, 4.1, 4.3, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 & 5.16) are not applicable to the additional four (4) x 8t excavators.
Please provide pricing based on the revised quantity and minor scope adjustment.
