Facilities Management – Turbot Street Properties

The property at 200 Turbot Street is owned by DSD and being held as a vacant building. The property is currently managed by Chesterton International, with this contract expiring on 31 December 2016. (DSDIP-2833-14).
The adjoining property at 168 Turbot Street will be vacated by the current tenant, Brisbane Dental Hospital, in January 2017. It is currently owned by Queensland Health and managed by Metro North Hospital and Health Service. Once vacated, a joint facilities management strategy will be employed across both vacant buildings.
A facilities management company is required to manage the vacant properties on a day to day basis, whilst the future of the assets is determined. Services may include but are not limited to – electrical, air-conditioning and air handling, plumbing, lift maintenance, security, carpentry and fire panel management.
