Domestic and Family Violence Services South East Region Stage 4A
The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services (the department) provides funding to non-government organisations to provide timely and quality risk and needs assessment, information, counselling and support to people affected by domestic and family violence. This investment also aims to achieve safer communities through prevention and early intervention and service system capacity building.
The department seeks contemporary, consistent and sustainable approaches for service delivery that delivers on a strong commitment of working towards eliminating domestic and family violence in our community. In line with this approach, investment under the Domestic and Family Violence Funding Area contributes to the following outcomes:
increased safety from domestic and family violence and improved wellbeing
increased perpetrator responsibility for abusive behaviour
increased public awareness about domestic and family violence including available support services.
This Domestic and Family Violence Services South East Region Stage 4A Request for Quote has been issued with the objectives of increasing the capacity of the local domestic and family violence service sector to support victim safety (including children), including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
