The provision of Traffic Engineer and Streams Operator for the North Coast District
The contractor is required to set up and operate the Managed Motorway Project (MMW) on the Bruce Highway. This also includes developing operational review, developing and reviewing the ramp metering algorithms, upgrading streams interface, side street traffic management strategies, TMC operational strategies and community complaints.
In addition, the contractor will be involved in the rollout of Emergency Vehicle Priority (EVP) across the district. This will include reviewing signal plans, operational issues and determine minor improvement options, undertake detailed estimates for upgrades and manage the contractor undertaking the works to upgrade these signals.
