Upgrade to Bulk Alcohol Storage Compactus at Queensland Museum
Queensland Museum has a requirement for the upgrade of the Bulk Alcohol Storage System at the Queensland Museum South Brisbane.
Scope of Requirement - The project has three phases as follows:
Phase 1 - Design Phase - Determine the appropriate design and layout for a mechanical compactus to maximise the available storage footprint to the following specifications:
Phase 2 – Preparation of Space - Determine the appropriate staff and equipment required (QM have a single piece of lifting equipment which can be utilised) in order to relocate the existing tanks and drums from the old storage system to a temporary decant space in order to prepare the area prior to installation. Then the reverse process will need to be performed to relocate the material back onto the new storage system after installation.
Phase 3 - Supply, Deliver and Installation Phase - Supply, deliver and install Phase consists of ensuring all shelving components are supplied, delivered and installed in the Bulk Alcohol Store, level 6 QM&S
Briefing Session - A briefing session is scheduled for Thursday 16th March 2017 and Tuesday 21st March 2017
Tenderers are required to make arrangements prior to Thursday 16th March 2017 and Tuesday 21st March 2017 to arrange a time suitable to attend site to undertake a site inspection.
