Burdekin Falls Dam Raising Feasibility Study
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals a supplier to prepare a report on aspects of the feasibility of a two metre raising of the Burdekin Falls Dam (the Dam) and the resultant water use. The feasibility study will provide:
• Preliminary advice on technical, environmental and economic factors to inform a future business case for the Dam raising
• An indication of the preferred timing of the Dam raising, considering future water demand and the proposed dam safety improvement works
• Recommended further work required to complete a business case for the Dam raising.
