View Contract Details

The services of a probity advisor are sought to provide professional probity and procurement advice in a timely manner on all aspects of the implementation of the SBIR, on an ‘as needs’ basis, as notified by DSITI.

• Probity and procurement guidance to ensure the market engagement, release of challenges, seeking of solutions, and structured problem solving process undertaken is managed in accordance with standards and principles of probity in procurement,
• The establishment of probity protocols and any other associated documentation / implementation guides as appropriate for a complex, cross-government, innovative and open procurement process,  
• Report to the SBIR project manager in a timely and informed manner on any real, perceived or potential breach of probity,
• Where possible anticipate and provide informed guidance on necessary actions to prevent lapses in probity,
• Provide strategic and timely advice and, if required, recommend solutions to probity or procurement issues if and when they arise,
• Provide guidance and advice to ensure conflict of interest and/or confidentiality arrangements are in place, appropriate and are followed, and
• Attend meetings and conduct probity briefings as requested.
