Family and Child Connect (FaCC) Implementation and Impact Evaluation

The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services is implementing a new system of Family and Child Connect (FaCC) services across Queensland in response to Recommendation 4.5 of the Queensland Child Protection Commission of Inquiry.

To provide a detailed analysis of the implementation and impacts of the FaCC service model, it is proposed that an external supplier is contracted to undertake an Evaluation comprising the following:

• Evaluation of FaCC Service Delivery Implementation – following on from the Establishment Reviews and reflecting on the Implementation process for the FaCC services across the state.
• Evaluation of FaCC Service Reform Impacts – exploring the expected early impacts of the new FaCC Services including coordination of responses and impacts on referral pathways to both the community services sector and Child Safety (i.e. RIS).
