Global Navigation Satellite System Continuously Operating Reference Station Equipment
This procurement is for four (4) GNSS CORS receivers and choke ring antennas that have reached end-of-life as well as purchase of one (1) GNSS CORS receivers and choke ring antenna for a new CORS site to be established near Winton. This equipment is a core element of the department’s geodetic infrastructure and is the backbone of the State’s coordinate datum. This equipment also supplies high quality GNSS data to Geoscience Australia to support scientific research into crustal deformation of the Australian Continent and the motion of the Australian Tectonic Plate.
