| Queensland Museum is Seeking a Suitably Qualified Operators for the Provision of Restaurant and Catering Services at Queensland Museum, South Brisbane
- engaging a suitably experienced, qualified and resourced Supplier to provide the abovementioned Services for an initial Contract term of five (5) years commencing Monday, 1 May 2017. At the end of the initial Contract term, the Supplier may invoke its option and extend the Contract for a further five (5) years to provide a total possible Contract term of no more than ten (10) years in total;
- executing a Contract with the successful Supplier no later than Monday, 27 February 2017 allowing for a minimum sixty (60) calendar day transition and notice period (where required) for the current arrangements which expire on Tuesday, 28 February 2017;
- achieving added value to the museum experience through an operator who will implement innovative solutions, grow the existing business and showcase how the function and venue hire aspects of the business can be grown to position Queensland Museum, South Brisbane as a unique event destination.
A MANDATORY INDUSTRY BRIEFING (MIB) will take place at 3.30pm on Wednesday, 1 February 2017 at the Queensland Museum, Level 2 - Theatre, Corner Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Brisbane QLD 4101, which will be followed by a site inspection.
Attendees can check-in at the Cloak Room counter on arrival for directions to be ready outside the theatre preferably at 3.20pm and no later than 3.25pm ready for briefing commencement. Those who fail to attend by 3.30pm may have entry rejected. This is to ensure briefing is conducted on time and to be fair to all Suppliers.
Any Supplier who does not attend this mandatory industry briefing and subsequent site inspection (in full) may not be eligible to submit an offer for evaluation.

Offers must be lodged by 2.00 pm (strictly) Australian Eastern Standard Time (Queensland) on Thursday, 16 February 2017.
