Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family Wellbeing Stage 2
An Expression of Interest process, released on 12 September 2016, has been evaluated and the successful suppliers are now invited to submit a response to this RFQ. It is a mandatory requirement that only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community controlled organisations are eligible to make an offer as the lead organisation for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family Wellbeing program.
Through this RFQ, the department is seeking contemporary and innovative service delivery to reduce the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in the child protection system in local areas. Services, funded under the Families Investment Specification Version 5.0, will be designed and delivered by engaging with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders, valuing their knowledge, and by applying healing frameworks to the development of practical support options for people and communities. Children and families and their participation in the decisions that shape their future are at the centre of all service responses.
