For the Purchase of Donor Bovine Serum
The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries/The Tick Fever Centre supplies quality assured Trivalent Tick Fever vaccine to the domestic market.
The Vaccine Production Unit uses 8L of donor bovine serum to prepare one batch of chilled diluent, which is used for the manufacture of the vaccine.
Usage is estimated 500L per 2.5 years (2.5 years supply).
Supplier must be able to deliver within a reasonable time frame, approximately 12 weeks.
