North Stradbroke Island - Ecological Values Assessment
The Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing requires a supplier to identify ecological values and threats within the study area to inform systems and operational management.
• Identify the critical natural values of the relevant area (including flora, fauna, ecosystem and hydrological). Identify key ecosystem/s for ongoing Health Check
• Identify the condition of the values and rate health indicators
• Identify current threats to these values
• Assess protection and management actions that are currently in place (including efficacy of a RAA as management tool for protection)
• Make recommendations of management actions that may be required to improve the natural values health rating
• Develop Health Check proforma to support NBD operations staff ongoing assessment and reporting program.
