Great Barrier Reef Science Synthesis Workshop
The Office of the Great Barrier Reef (OGBR) within the Queensland Department of Environment and Heritage Protection is seeking to engage a coordinator and facilitator for the Great Barrier Reef Science Synthesis Workshop, to be held in Townsville, on 21, 22 and 23 November 2017.
The second Great Barrier Reef Science Synthesis Workshop will synthesise elements of science, experience, policy options and best management approaches into innovative and flexible approaches to determine the health of the Great Barrier reef ecosystem and water quality.
Key elements of the work include working with the OGBR project team (based in Brisbane) to:
• Design the Science Synthesis workshop program for up to 100 delegates
• Prepare and plan the workshop program and delivery
• Lead and facilitate the workshop program events
• Manage the recording of outputs and outcomes of the workshops, including any printing and other miscellaneous costs
• Follow up evaluation of the process, outcomes and outputs and recommendations providing all these in an agreed-to format with a final report to OGBR
• The OGBR will supply an administrative assistant to assist with the co-ordination of the workshop
