The Department of Energy and Water Supply entered into a direct negotiation to develop a guideline that will assist developers of solar projects, local governments, landholders and community members to have a common understanding of what is considered to be best practice in the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects in Queensland, with strategic land-use considerations factored into the overall planning process.
