Wynnum Replacement Ambulance Station - Building Contractor
The Queensland Government is seeking proposals to engage a suitably qualified Building Contractor to design, document and construct the Wynnum Replacement Ambulance Station.
The scope of the project generally includes but is not limited to providing an emergency response capability, which will allow QAS to meet the current and projected demand for services, and to maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for vehicle response times in the Wynnum locality. The scope will include:
Construction of a replacement station on a parcel of land adjacent to the new Wynnum Integrated Health Care Centre, including office space for the Officer-in-Charge, write-up area, multi-purpose room, day room, and kitchen, rest-study area, equipment recharge area and staff amenities;
A ten (10) bay, drive through plant room with wash bay, including storage areas for patient care supplies and general stores; and
On-site parking of thirty-three (33) bays will be provided for staff and operational vehicles, with three (3) visitor and person with disability (PWD) parking.
