The purpose of this Invitation to Offer is to obtain offers from suppliers who will be able to provide high quality and cost effective audio visual services for the Philanthropic Campaign for UQ launch week of events which will be held in a purpose-built pavilion (approx. 60m x 20m) constructed in the Great Court, UQ St Lucia Campus. The anticipated contract commencement date will be determined once the evaluation and contract process has been completed. Once this process has been completed the contract will begin from the advised date and to continue until the end of the launch week, Wednesday 18 October 2017.
The University of Queensland is embarking on its first comprehensive philanthropic campaign. This ambitious fundraising effort will transform the UQ student experience, ensure access to a UQ education for the very best students regardless of their background, and enable research breakthroughs that will save lives and strengthen the health and wellbeing of communities and the environment. From a global perspective all universities deliver a ‘launch’ to their philanthropic campaigns. There needs to be a call to action which inspires our students, staff, most relevant alumni and donors. Inspiration and nostalgia will be generated by using the Great Court. To launch the Philanthropic Campaign for UQ, a week of events will be held in a purpose-built pavilion in the Great Court in October 2017.
