The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for a Quantity Surveyor for the Gladstone Hospital Emergency Department.

The overall scope of the Gladstone Hospital Emergency Department Project is:

1. Relocation of the existing carpark (delivered as part of the Early Works package);
2. Development of a new Emergency Department Building to include:
   1. Construction of a single storey Emergency Department on the site of the existing carpark at the southern end of the hospital
   2. The existing Emergency Department Building will be refurbished as a Specialty Outpatients Department
   3. Construct a link from the new Emergency Department to the existing building
   4. The new Emergency Department will be developed to allow additional capacity for future use/expansion
3. Refurbishment of the existing ED space for Community Care and outpatient services
