Caloundra South State School is in the North Coast Region which services a high growth residential area and surrounding community approximately 90 kilometres north from Brisbane.
Caloundra South State School is new and will open in 2018 with an anticipated enrolment of 320 students in years Prep to Year 6 (P-6).
It is expected that enrolment will increase to 1100 students over the next five (5) years
