Supply of Human Health and Wellbeing Sector Plan
The Queensland Government has a commitment to implement the Queensland Climate Adaptation Strategy (Q-CAS). The Q-CAS vision is an innovative and resilient Queensland that manages the risks and harnesses the opportunities of a changing climate.
There are four pathways in the Q-CAS, including the ‘Sectors and systems’ pathway. This pathway supports industry-led development of sector adaptation plans (SAPs) that detail how government will work with sector stakeholders to identify adaptation needs and prioritise adaptation actions for respective sectors.
The pilot Built Environment and Infrastructure (BEI) SAP and the Agriculture SAP were launched in August 2017. The Human Health and Wellbeing SAP (Health SAP) is among the next SAPs to be developed and follows a review of the pilot SAP development process.
You are invited to submit a quote to develop the Human Health and Wellbeing SAP (Health SAP). The quote will need to demonstrate your ability to develop a Health SAP that meets the needs of industry and the goals of the Queensland Government as described in the Q-CAS.
The complete contract requirements are specified in Schedule 1 of the attached ‘Contract Details’.
