Evaluation of Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie Community Recovery Fund
Following Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and subsequent widespread rainfall and flooding across parts of Queensland in March–April 2017, $14.7 million was allocated under Category C of the Joint Commonwealth/State Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements for a Community Recovery Fund to provide Individual Support Program services, Community Development and Community Mental Health Services in the affected areas.
The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services is seeking to engage a suitably qualified organisation or consortium to evaluate the effectiveness of the Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie human and social recovery services funded jointly by the State and Commonwealth Governments under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements Category C – Community Recovery Fund.
The evaluation must be undertaken utilising the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for Disaster Recovery Programs.
