Greens Creek Bridge Replacement - Cedar Pocket Road
.Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the replacement of the existing timber bridge with a reinforced concrete bridge on Cedar Pocket Road over Greens Creek in Greens Creek, Queensland.
The works generally include:
Environmental Management, including (but not limited to) checking for fauna prior to vegetation clearing & bridge demolition, weed management and other items as identified in the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP).
Traffic management.
Construction of temporary side-track, and removal at completion of works.
Demolition of existing timber bridge, stockpiling of good materials for Council collection, and disposal of remainder.
Minor earthworks
Construction of a new prestressed concrete bridge with cast-in-situ concrete deck as the wearing surface (complete).The precast planks specified are 1200mm Quickcell planks with cast-in-situ deck slab. An Alternative to these planks has been deleted from this contract.
Full reconstruction of road pavement to wider formation with improved vertical geometry, between Chainage 10 and 95
Widening of road pavement under traffic, between Chainage 95 and 160: with small improvement to vertical geometry and full width reseal;
Installation of road signage, wire rope barriers, concrete cut-off walls (CW1) to protect pavementduring flood overtopping, and guide posts.
Scour protection and soil stabilisation measures including riprap, subsoil drainage, planting,turfing and hydromulching.
Removal and disposal of all waste material from the site and finishing the works to a high standard.
As per the attached Specifications, Plans, Drawings and Conditions of Tender documents.
The closing date for Tenders is 2.00 pm, Thursday, 4 January, 2018. Late Tenders will not be considered.
