Domestic and Family Violence Counselling and Perpetrator Intervention Programs North Queensland
The department seeks contemporary, consistent and sustainable approaches for service delivery that delivers on a strong commitment of working towards eliminating domestic and family violence in our community. In line with this approach, investment under the Domestic and Family Violence Funding Area contributes to the following outcomes:
• increased safety from domestic and family violence and improved wellbeing;
• increased perpetrator responsibility for abusive behaviour; and
• increased public awareness about domestic and family violence including available support services.
The Request for Quote has been issued with the objectives of increasing the capacity of local domestic and family violence services to support victim safety and hold perpetrators accountable for their behaviour.
Quotes are invited by the State of Queensland, acting through the department for the delivery of innovative, flexible domestic and family violence services in Isaac and Whitsundays.
