The Department of Transport and Main Roads - Maritime Safety Queensland (TMR-MSQ) requires the services of an experienced organisation for the provision of an expanded Vessel Traffic System (VTS) radar system.
MSQ’s primary function is the management of both recreational and commercial maritime traffic within the State’s ports and coastal waterways. The management of shipping traffic is currently achieved through a combination of harbour masters’ directions, port procedures, pilotage services, Vessel Traffic Services (VTS), and in the Torres Strait and the Inner Route of the Great Barrier Reef, through Reef VTS.
