Maritime Safety Queensland requires the services of an experienced organisation for the provision of an expanded Meteorological and Oceanographic (Met-Ocean) system in Gladstone to support the measurement of tides, weather and water flow.
The purpose of the Gladstone Met-Ocean update project is to address the identified limitations of the currently installed system in respect to the sensor coverage currently achieved in the port versus the requirements for the approved port expansion associated with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) shipping activities.
