The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the delivery of a large scale public art project as part of Remembrance Day 2018 commemorations.
The deliverables associated with the Project include:
develop the concept of the Public Art Installation (designs, structural plans, materials, finishes, lighting plans etc.)
engage the Queensland community in the creation phase of the Public Art Installation
organise a small number of community engagement activations across the State (equipment, logistics, transport, staffing, demonstrations, conducting workshops and liaising with the public)
liaise with community groups, schools and organisations wishing to participate in the creation phase of the Project (registration)
organise the delivery and collection of art materials for the community engagement program (packaging and instructions)
manage the curation, development, installation and dismantle of the Public Art Installation including venue liaison (fabrication, engineering, construction, equipment, lighting, staffing, permits and security)
develop and execute a plan to recycle, repurpose or securely dispose of the Public Art Installation post Remembrance Day 2018
engage and contract with sub-contractors (as required)
photograph and document the Project.
